Prime Minister Abiy Ahmed (PhD) emphasized the importance of resolving conflicts, hatred, and warfare, and instead embracing love and peace to build Ethiopia’s development and prosperity.
During the 19th Nations, Nationalities, and Peoples’ Day celebration, held in the city of Arba Minch with a grand ceremony, the Prime Minister highlighted the role of such significant national events in fostering Ethiopia’s unity and togetherness.
In his speech, he described Ethiopia as a vast library that requires studying, understanding, and learning from the diverse cultures and communities within it. He called for a collective embrace of Ethiopian identity over individual interests, stressing the need to recognize Ethiopia’s profound grace and wisdom.
The Prime Minister urged all citizens to work together in harmony and mutual respect, returning to the principles of peace and love, to advance Ethiopia’s progress. He pointed out that recently, thousands of insurgents in Oromia chose the path of peace, abandoning war, and invited others to follow suit.
