Denmark Strengthens Bilateral Support for Ethiopia’s Prosperity – Danish Ambassador

Denmark is set to enhance its bilateral support for Ethiopia’s development efforts, Danish Ambassador Benedikte Astrup has announced.

Speaker of the House of People’s Representatives, Tagese Chafo, hosted Ambassador Astrup for discussions at his office. During the meeting, the Ambassador praised Ethiopia’s ongoing development initiatives in various sectors and reaffirmed Denmark’s commitment to supporting Ethiopia’s efforts toward prosperity.

Ambassador Astrup emphasized Denmark’s long-standing friendship with Ethiopia and expressed her country’s intent to continue providing bilateral assistance to ensure Ethiopia’s sustainable growth and stability.

In response, Speaker Tagese acknowledged Denmark’s enduring friendship and support for Ethiopia. He highlighted the importance of strengthening diplomatic relations between the two nations, particularly in the economic sector.

The Speaker also extended gratitude for Denmark’s contributions across various fields, underscoring the positive impact of the country’s support on Ethiopia’s development journey.

Both sides reaffirmed their commitment to further bolstering cooperation and exploring new opportunities for collaboration in mutual areas of interest.
